Extra night available – it is possible to extend your weekend by an extra day

Hittisleigh Barton is a charming historic hamlet, centered around the beautiful St. Andrews Parish Church. The deep-rooted connection between the farm and the church dates back to Saxon times, when the Barton was home to the former Manor of Hittisleigh. Today, the farm is home to a collection of traditional buildings, including a medieval farmhouse and a range of 18th-century cob farm structures.

The Oak Barn, the venue’s stunning centerpiece, is a fusion of two connected barns. One is an 18th-century granary, now transformed into an awe-inspiring hall featuring traditional oak cruck trusses. The other, a 19th-century barn, has been skillfully converted into a spacious reception room, kitchen, and luxurious accommodation with three ensuite bedrooms. This meticulous restoration uses oak sourced from the farm itself, showcasing traditional building methods to the highest standard.
