The Farmhouse
This charming medieval Devon farmhouse, dating back to the 14th and 15th centuries, is built from traditional cob and granite and boasts a wealth of period features, including inglenook fireplaces and planked screens. With four beautifully appointed bedrooms, it offers a cozy and historic retreat.
The Granary is a spacious ground-floor bedroom with an en-suite wet room. The slate floor stays refreshingly cool in summer, while underfloor heating ensures warmth during the winter months. Equipped with tea and coffee-making facilities and a television, this room is £195 for two nights (VAT included). A futon is available for use as an additional single or double bed, with sheets provided. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels if using the futon. It can easily be moved to another bedroom if needed.
In addition to The Granary, we have three lovely farmhouse bedrooms that share a large traditional family bathroom.
On the landing, you’ll find a kettle for tea and coffee, along with a well-stocked bookcase for leisurely reading and board games for some fun. Downstairs, two lounges provide a comfortable space to relax, one featuring a television and both with cozy woodburners.
The Primrose Bedroom – A sunny, serene room with a Queen-sized bed, offering views of the front garden and barn. £150 for two nights (VAT included).
The Cornflower Bedroom – A charming, carpeted room with a double bed, also overlooking the front garden and barn. £150 for two nights (VAT included).
The Foxglove Bedroom – Nestled at the back of the house, this room features a king bed and a single. Bedding and towels are provided for up to three guests, with room for an additional guest (additional bedding and towels must be provided by the guest). £150 for two nights (VAT included).
Breakfast is not usually provided, as guests typically enjoy breakfast in one of the barns with those staying there. However, if you’d like breakfast in the farmhouse, simply let us know.
Please note that the price for one night is the same as for two nights.
